Abelokipi area is nice and safe and has excellent transportation system. Staying in Abelokipi area you have the safety you need when you are in a foreign country and avoid the bad areas of the city center. Be carefull because there are many vacations rentals in the city center close to the Archaelogical sites which are not safe.
